First Always started from a simple idea: women should never feel guilty about putting themselves first.
I’m Stephanie, the woman behind First Always. I’ve spent much of my career as an executive in the title insurance industry, and looking polished and put together has always been important to me. But to me, polished has never meant overly dressed up. I love pieces that are versatile — something you can wear with heels and jewelry for dinner, then style with jeans, sneakers, or a jacket for a more casual day. It’s less about dressing for an occasion and more about feeling confident and like yourself wherever you’re going.
At 50, I found myself in a season of change — simplifying, starting over in some ways, and thinking more intentionally about what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like. It made me realize how easy it is to spend years pouring so much of ourselves into our careers, relationships, and the things we believe need our attention that somewhere along the way, we can forget to make room for ourselves.
First Always grew out of that season.
I had a closet full of beautiful pieces that deserved another life, along with an idea I’d been holding onto for a jewelry collection of my own. What started as a way to simplify became something that felt much more meaningful — a chance to build something creative, personal, and entirely mine.
The Closet is a curated mix of pre-loved clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories — including designer pieces — chosen because they’re still beautiful, wearable, and worth loving again. I’m drawn to pieces that can be dressed up, dressed down, mixed in with what you already own, and worn in a way that feels uniquely yours.
And this is only the beginning. I’m also building the First Always jewelry collection with that same idea in mind: pieces that feel polished, feminine, and elevated, but never too precious for everyday life. Jewelry that works just as well with a blazer as it does with jeans and a favorite top.
First Always is about more than clothes or jewelry. It’s about confidence, versatility, reinvention, and remembering that making yourself a priority doesn’t mean everything else matters less. It simply means you matter, too.
